Flatten that Fifth

In Music Theory, the fifth interval is always considered “perfect” because it creates a sense of consonance and completeness, sounding very pleasing to our ears. In many ways, we could relate the Perfect 5th Interval with the Utopian Society envisioned by Marx where there is stateless society with the means of production owned collectively- eliminating exploitation and alienation; or the Capitalist Utopia where individuals have the freedom to pursue their economic interests, engage in free markets to accumulate wealth, benefiting from innovation and a high standard of living.
However the world we live in is far from that perfect utopia. Rather, it is one of the most dissonant intervals known as the Diminished, or the Flat Fifth. It is just a semitone, which is half of a tone, lower than a Perfect Fifth. So close, yet so far away we are from perfection. There is so little, yet so much to do.
Here in Flat Fifth, we will analyze why our society lacks and what our society lacks- what is wrong and what we must improve for the flat to be raised to the perfect fifth.
Hope is not lost, its simply hidden- hidden layers deep beneath the chaotic world of politics. Join me in the dig to uncover the truth, for it is never too late.
